Whatsapp New Privacy Policy 2021 Updates & what you can do by steps

 We all know that Whatsapp updates their Privacy policy on 4th Jan 2021 & it will be implemented on all user's messengers apps on 8th Feb 2021. A new Notification said that WhatsApp now stops giving end to end encryption for messages to the users. which is secured for that chat. users will have till 8th Feb to decide what to do or not about their Whatsapp status. 

this update notice covers everything about how they process your data & stored it in their servers and how it will be shared with Facebook & the business partners. you know that Whatsapp launched in 2009 for file sharing and messaging free of cost. 

but after some time this company will be brought by CEO of the Facebook Mark Zuckerberg. he is the only one who is operating Facebook, Whatsapp, Tumblr & Instagram.  Now after Instagram they want to connect Whastapp with Facebook so they can get better Experiences and result for their ads and marketing promotions.

 After the New Privacy policy Update, most of the users are in doubt if the personal data will be leaked by the company or anything. so I want to say one thing about data sharing that every company has a cookies policy and when you agreed to the terms then your device will sharing some information like device logs, Timezone, basic information like name, Phone number, etc.

What is Information About they collect?

Whatsapp says they collect information about user's device hardware, logs, GPS location, and basic information for a better user experience. In YouTubers' ways, they are sharing Whastapp Data with Facebook for the ads or maybe they use it for third-party partners. after an update, you will have a pop-up about to agree or disagree option on terms & policies. 

which is asking if you clearly accept this then we will collect the information they have in detail or if you will disagree then you are o longer to use Whatsapp. obviously, no one company provide anything free of cost. for Example Zomato, at first, they are giving so many discounts & free deliveries in India & now they have an addicted to this food and after some time they started delivery charges. this update will apply to both Android & iOS versions.

Account Information: You have to provide them Phone Number with a Profile picture & basic details. If you can't provide them this information then you will no longer have use to Whatsapp.

Chats & messages: Whatsapp Recapitulate that they are saved any kind of user's messages in their servers. they have End to End encryption protocol. which is not any third party to view chat messages which are interacting between users. they are saving your messages in a temporary format until delivered to another user. after that they will automatically delete those messages.

Now You have Doubts about Undelivered messages So Whatsapp says that if the user didn't get the message. then they will encrypt the message for 30 days after this message will be deleted by Whatsapp. The same formula is applicable to Media format files.

this feature recently launched in India but in another country, it run since last year on iOS Smartphones. this payment feature allows users to purchase any product online or do financial transactions. in this case, they to save Purchase history, shipping address, GPS location, payment method & transaction amount. in case of any fraud or happens yo the company needs to be secure officially. even AMAZONE & FLIPKART do the same.

Does Whatsapp allow Ads?

Well, for sure Whatsapp Clear that in repeated words. they are not going to allow any Third-party ads on messenger services. but if they will want they can update their services. but after Whatsapp caught by Facebook for sure they will have the right to use user's information for Facebook & third-party business partners.

Whatsapp launched last year this option. in which users can expand their business on WhatsApp with third parties and other customers. WhatsApp will collect some information about you in their automated system. Like the Device Model name, Log Files, Time-Zone, Purchase history through WhatsApp Pay. On another side, they will collect your connections Basic information, your profile picture, status, calling status, Battery level, signal strength & GEO Location Information. even they are collection number of the group activities & last seen of your online status.

Connections & Location Informations: WhatsApp collects when we allow syncing our contact list with the app. they will sync WhatsApp contact in their database and show us and the rest of the others they will be encrypted for security and ensure they will not see this. 

They collect information about the location of the users. and after the update I guess location can be more helpful to provide good ads experience to the customers. In case you are not using this feature, they will collect your IP Address, ISP, And area code according to the nearby or recent location you shared.

Cookies: There is nothing much to say about cookies. like every blog, Whatsapp also uses cookies for a better and fast user experience and every time it makes helps to lessen the consuming time and search experience. so it has no Big issue in the New Privacy Policy Update.

What choice you have and What happens after deleting your account?

Well, you have your choice if you want to keep up or not. like if you feel that you have sensitive data that is not good to go in public you may not share it on Whatsapp.  fo this you can use Telegram or Signal apps. but if you have not any sensitive data and you have a Facebook account already then you may continue after the update.

Next is what happens if you Delete your WhatsApp account. then your all Undelivered messages will be deleted by the WhatsApp server and you are no longer to use WhatsApp. But in highlights, WhatsApp said that if you delete your account, then they are not affected by the information about you that saved by other users or about other users saved by you. Whatsapp encrypted every message to keep them secure from third parties.
